The Vineyard

Alsace has a great diversity of lands and landscapes. It has a dry and sunny climate, a complex geology, some favorable soils and orientation of hills, which are the ideal conditions for vineyards.
The vineyards of the cellar are situated at the foot of the Vieil Armand covering 10 villages : BUHL, SOULTZ, JUNGHOLTZ, WUENHEIM, HARTMANNSWILLER, BERRWILLER, WATTWILLER, UFFHOLTZ, CERNAY and STEINBACH.

It’s completed with two plots in the Grand Cru Zinnkoepfle (Westhalten – Soultzmatt) and the Grand Cru Spiegel (Bergholtz-Guebwiller). The vineyards are south and south-east facing which enables perfect conditions for flowering and ripening of the vines, which in turn leads to conditions necessary for the perfect maturity of the grapes at harvest time.

All the appellations are made: AOC Alsace, Crémant d’Alsace, Alsace Grand Cru, Vendanges tardives, selection de grains nobles.

In addition there is a single vineyard “Château Ollwiller” which has its own unique specific appellations: “Château Ollwiller” and “Clos de la Tourelle”.
